From 1st January 2026, the fee for completing a DVLA form has increased to £50 (from £40) and from 1st April 2026, will increase to £62.50. The fee increase is so the service is more in line with the work required to complete the form.
The BMA are encouraging forms to be completed and returned to the DVLA with 4 to 6 weeks.
Fees for other non-contractual areas are also being considered for review.
