From April 2026, updates included to help practices record/submit COVID vaccination data quickly and accurately. These updates ensure daily data flows to NHSE supporting the national programme.
When recording a COVID vaccination in, extended qualifiers will be included:
- Eligibility – why the patient is being vaccinated
- Location – where the vaccination took place
NHSE has advised future COVID vaccinations should be delivered in GP practices, rather than PCN Hubs. This update supports this shift to help ensure your data continues to meet national standards.
