In support of the General Practice Annual Electronic Declaration (eDEC), SCW Geospatial, in collaboration with NHS England, provides the GP Catchment Hub. This platform enables GP practices to view and edit their catchment area data and will continue to support submissions for eDEC. A new version of the hub will be released in August 2025, bringing several enhancements designed to improve usability and performance. While the core functionality remains unchanged, the experience will be more intuitive and efficient. Key improvements include:
- Multi-Editor Access– All registered users will be able to edit practice’s catchment area.
2. Enhanced Editing Tools– Improved feedback during editing, including validation checks and a visible log of changes.
3. Streamlined User Experience – Fewer clicks and simplified self-service user account management, including password resets.
4. Performance and Accessibility – Faster load times and improved web accessibility standards.
