Due to the number of issues we identify around safeguarding, we have added a number of safeguarding resources to the Insight Portal this month-
- Child protection register
- Vulnerable adult register
- Patients aged 18+ with active child protection codes & patients turning 18 next month with child protection code
- to be potentially coded as vulnerable adult and no longer on child protection register
- Parents of children with codes on child protection register
- Should be coded a family member on child protection register
- Child protection plan
- This code should only be recorded on the appropriate child’s record, if recorded on family member (parent) record, should be coded family member subject of child protection plan
